I’ve had the privilege to do a lot of things in my life and have traveled many miles as well. I’ve been writing songs since 1988 and have tried to share them everywhere, but sometimes things don’t go the way we plan. I’ve written over 200 songs since then and I still have some favorites, some I’ve shared in churches, in concert while we were on the road, on street corners, at a outreach and in small groups. In March 2016, I was invited to share my testimony and music at the Pinewood Studios Prayer Breakfast in Peachtree City, GA. I really have a blast sharing what the Lord has given me. Most of my songs are about the heart and many were touched. I love to encourage people to find their destiny and dreams.
In October 2015, my wife helped convince me to really go after my music. I had received a prophetic word in 2011 to get back to my music and so we started going that direction. We started purchasing equipment and now we have our own portable music studio.
I auditioned for AMTC – Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ back in April 2013, but we didn’t have the funds to send both myself and our son through their training program. This time, it was for me. June 25 – July 3, I will be performing at their competition conference in Orlando at the Gaylord Palms Resort. There are going to be over 75 agents there who represent models, singers, songwriters, actors and dancers, including America’s Got Talent, VH1, Fox, etc. I am looking forward to finally getting my music heard on the big stage. I will be performing my song, “Angel On The Way,” and a cover song by Bread, “Everything I Own.” It has taken me some time to get my voice to sing this cover, but it has been so worth it. Expanding my horizons and hopefully will be writing some new songs soon. Here’s to a new direction.
